Stinky Stinky! We all know the smell of a skunk while driving down the road. Skunks also happen to love to live under sheds and under decks. Occasionally we even see them in basements and crawlspaces!

Contrary to popular belief skunks do not hibernate. We get calls for them all year round! Starting during mating season(February) and going through late June when their young are born skunks are non stop. They love to make their dens under sheds and decks as well as structures on a slabs.

Our Unique Approach To Skunk Control & Removal Service

At Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control we take a direct and humane trapping technique to quickly and efficiently capture and remove skunks. We use a baitless style trap that focuses on catching the target skunks, not any animal that happens to be in the yard

1. INSPECTION

We begin with an inspection to identify the main entry points and set the traps in a position conducive to catching the target skunks as quickly as possible. During this inspection we can also look at the structure they are living under and provide a quote to seal off this area against reentry again in the future.

2. TRAPPING

Our Trapping process is very fast and in most cases we can produce results extremely fast and have the entire trapping wrapped up and animal free in 7-10 days

3. Exclusion

Once the skunks are caught, we then focus on repairing the structure they have been under so that we can ensure that it will not happen again.
