Our Insulation Removal & Installation

When critters gain access to your home they love to make your home their home. One of their favorite things to do is nest in attics and basements inside of the insulation. Rodents like squirrels, mice and rats will tear holes in the insulation and use it for nesting material. Given time this damage can become quite extensive (particularly with larger animals like squirrels and raccoons). Along with the damage from the critters themselves, the feces accumulates very quickly in your attics and basement causing health hazards and damaging the insulation. At Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control we make your damaged and dirty spaces, clean again.

Our Unique Approach To Insulation Removal & Installation

Our goal is to remove as much of the contaminated insulation, feces and debris as possible from the space, and then to sanitize and disinfect it. After this we install brand new fresh insulation to bring the space to its proper insulation R-value.

1. INSPECTION

Our process begins with an inspection to identify the target critters and a detailed trapping/eviction plan followed by repairing the entry points the animals were using. At this time we will also measure the attic, crawlspace or basement that needs remediation

2. EXTRACTION

Once the animals are removed and the entry points sealed we can begin the extraction process. We use special equipment to safely remove the insulation and feces without contaminating the home. The space is then cleaned and sanitized.

3. INSULATION INSTALLATION

Finally, after the space is cleaned and sanitized we install brand new insulation in the space.
